It started out with “is Woodbridge too far to drive for the session?”. If you live in Northern Virginia, you know that one hour turns into several with DMV traffic, so it was a legitimate question. Haley said she was down for anything, and I jokingly said “how about the black sand beach in Iceland?”.
Cut to a full family vacation for them, and the experience of a lifetime for me! This was my second trip to Iceland, but my first time shooting a session out of the country.
