I love working with Queens who are willing to try new things with me! Lina was a natural! She was incredible to work with and her photos turned out absolutely stunning. Here are a few of the sweet things she said after working together:
I decided to do a boudoir session because I wanted to feel fierce, sexy and empowered and that’s exactly how Phoebe made me feel.
Before my session, I was so nervous because I have always been body shamed for being plus size. However, Phoebe made me feel so comfortable during our session! I loved the energy, the vibe, the laughs and the honey mistakes we made along the way. She showed me exactly how to pose and helped me to picture poses in my mind so that I was able to get them!
Lately it feels like I’ve been on an emotional roller coaster. My entire life, I’ve been on medications on and off. Losing weight has always been difficult for me. I’ve tried diet and exercise and all that but it’s never been easy. And then last year, my partner of seven years and I split and it’s been one hell of a journey to get to where I am now.
Working with Phoebe has helped me get that confidence back. This experience helped me say to myself, “you know what I’m not skinny and I never will be and I know that someone out there will love me for all of me again.” During my session, I learned that there are tons of women out there who have been in the same situation I am, but we can’t let that get us down. We just have to have fun.
Overall, my experience was a 10000/10000. I loved my hair and makeup, I freaking adore Jenny to death. She’s also very good friend of mine. She’s done my makeup on countless occasions, so she knows me very well and she put my whole look together as if she had this planned months in advance. If I were to give advice to someone considering a boudoir session, I would tell them to live in the moment and do it! I would absolutely work with Phoebe Rust Photography again!
